Cityline biography
Cityline is a daily lifestyle television program produced in Canada and syndicated internationally, targeting primarily women. It is the longest-running daytime talk show in Canadian history. The show has been on air since 1984 and covers topics such as decorating, fashion and style, beauty, food, and health. It features interviews with experts in these fields and showcases various products and services. The show is hosted by Tracy Moore, who was named as a new host in 2008.
Cityline controversies
Cityline has faced some controversy over the years. In 1999, host Marilyn Denis left the show to host her own program, Marilyn, on the same network. This led to speculation that there was tension between her and the other hosts on Cityline. However, both Denis and the producers of Cityline denied these rumors. In 2018, the show was criticized for featuring an interview with anti-vaccine activist Jenny McCarthy. The show's producers defended their decision, stating that the show aims to present a variety of opinions on controversial topics. However, the backlash led to the show editing the segment out of later airings.
