Fox Sports 2 (FS2) is an American pay television sports channel that was founded as FUEL TV on July 1, 2003 and rebranded on August 17, 2013 as Fox Sports 2, refocusing primarily as an overflow channel for the newly launched mainstream sports network Fox Sports 1. The channel is based at the Fox Sports division's headquarters in the Westwood, Los Angeles section of Los Angeles, California and is available in the U.S. only in the U.S. state of California, in the U.S. state of California, and in the U.S. territory of Puerto Rico, where it is known as Fox Sports Puerto Rico. The network's prominence expanded further with the introduction of Ultimate Fighting Championship mixed martial arts programming.
