Jessica Mauboy biography
Jessica Hilda Mauboy (born 4 August 1989 in Darwin, Northern Territory) is an Australian singer, songwriter and actress who rose to fame in 2006 on the Australian Idol (season 4) of Australian Idol, where she was runner-up and subsequently signed a recording contract with Sony Music Australia, after which she released a The Journey (Jessica Mauboy album) and briefly being a member of the girl group Young Divas in 2007, Mauboy released her debut studio album, Been Waiting, the following year, which included the top-ten hits "Pop a Bottle (Fill Me Up)", "Burn (Jessica Mauboy song)", and "Can I Get a Moment?".
