CBC Kids controversies
There have been few controversies surrounding CBC Kids over the years. One notable incident occurred in 2002 when the show Peep and the Big Wide World featured an episode that included a depiction of Allah. The scene led to complaints from some viewers, and the CBC eventually issued an apology for any offense that may have been caused. More recently, some parents have expressed concerns over the content of the show Ollie! The Boy Who Became What He Ate, which promotes healthy eating habits. Some critics have argued that the show encourages body shaming and puts too much emphasis on appearance.
