Residente (born René Pérez Joglar on February 23, 1978 in San Juan, Puerto Rico), known professionally as Residente (often stylized as Resīdεntә), is a Puerto Rican rapper, singer, writer, filmmaker, and also one of the founders of the Puerto Rican alternative rap group Calle 13 (band).
