Soccer AM biography
Soccer AM is a British football television programme that was first broadcast in 1995. It is a Saturday morning show that airs on Sky Sports and is presented by John Fendley and Jimmy Bullard. The show has built up a strong following over the years and is known for its entertaining mix of football analysis, celebrity interviews and comedy sketches.
Soccer AM controversies
Over the years, Soccer AM has had its fair share of controversies. In 2009, the show was heavily criticised for a skit that saw two of its presenters appear in blackface. The segment was widely condemned for being racist and offensive. The show issued an apology but still faced significant backlash from viewers and the media. In 2018, the show was once again caught up in a controversy when guest Harry Redknapp made remarks that were criticised as sexist. Redknapp was criticised for his comments but the incident was largely brushed off as a minor blip by both the show and its fans.
