UNILAD biography
In 2016, UNILAD was named the top Facebook page and online video channel in the world. The page had 17 million followers in 2016, with 2.7 billion monthly video views, second to BuzzFeed's "Tasty" channel in views and are first in global engagement. UNILAD was shut down in 2012, but it relaunched in 2014 under new owners Liam Harrington and Sam Bentley. The company has since developed into a media network that creates and licenses original content. In October 2018 UNILAD was bought out by LADbible, making LADbible Group "the largest social video publisher ever" with more than 120 million followers. The company comprises its primary channel as well as eight sub-channels that specialise in technology, travel, and other topics.
